How Greek and Latin became part of modern English
One of the reasons of why English adopted Latin was because Latin was the Lingua Franca all through antiquity, the middle ages, the renaissance, and later. English language relativity to Greek descends from Greek being related to Latin being descended from the same prehistoric ancestor language. www.linguistics.stackexchnage.com/greeklatin |
What is tragedy? A tragedy is a story or a play on where there is is character who is better that anyone else as a king or queen, this person achieves something by doing something that gets them where they currently are by either doing something evil whether they know about it or find out later on the story. The character succeeds but as the story goes on he descends from his place onto a place not so favorable for him as he recognizes the effects of his acts.
In these image we can appreciate Macbeth's story, by placing what he goes through in a very understandable way, starting on how he started to believe he was important, then on his belief on what the witches had said and at the time when one of the prophecies became true. Continuing by killing the king, becoming king, not so successfully succeeding on doing it very well, and his massacre of the people he did not like or the people on his way to become great. Till his fall as a king, the betrayal of his thanes and his death by Macduff, till Malcolm became king.

Wreck it Ralph is a very good example of how a play follows a Freytag Plot structure by going from what simply started the whole deal, beginning by how Ralph was not well welcome in the penthouse of the apartment he wrecks on, following by what he did in order to become accepted by this i mean stealing a medal from a different game, To where he goes to another game looking for his friend who went looking for him because he was looked fro by his friends who where worried for him. He ends in another game where he loses his medal to a glitch who bets it on a race, in order to get in back he must help the girl win a race . Going through multiple obstacles like training the girl, getting her a car, and again later helping her out. The girl races and as this happens the truth behind king candy is uncovered as he is not the person he was believed he was, she wins the race and by this becoming the Queen of the game, the play ends on ralph being accepted and vennellope being happy.

The person i’d like to talk about would be Dr. Otto Octavius from the movie Spider-man II, i see this character as a tragic hero because he dies trying to destroy what he once thought was a good thing to build,he faces his fate with dignity and well this gains our sympathy for him as we understand the guts that takes to give up life for someone else’s, and makes us think if we would do the same. He does have a character flaw, which happens when he started creating the source of energy he wanted to make but then something went wrong, the apparatus fails ending in a catastrophe, he lost his wife, the support he had from Oscorp, and the chance to achieve what he wanted to create. Dr. Otto was not complex because people who watched him in the play did not expect for him to do something else devilish than what he proposed himself to do at least i didn't, which was to make a machine that would create a new form of renewable energy at all costs, yes he stole money but people would have figured out that he needed it to build the machine since he was a looked for man. Dr. Octavius was not evil in a whole, he was not all evil in fact he was not the evil one it was all the metal hand-ish things that took over his brain, he still had a good side he shows it at the end of the play as i already explained above. I think this man really gained some of our respect because he is just a total cool character. :)'(:
